V. Boris creates progeny with large, yellow flowers that are covered with brown spotting. V. lamellata is known for making its progeny flower on a shorter plant, with a range in size of the flowers from  medium to large, blooming  on a shorter plant with yellow flowers and slight coloring on their sepals.
