This unusual plant comes from Borneo and is known for its long, terete leaves. It grows in hot,  shady rainforest  conditions. The plant we are offering here is grown from seed with leaves that are already 16-17 inches long and has already flowered once. This is the first of this genus we are selling. Plants are slow growing, so order now while they are available!
 
 
 
 
Flower buds appear at the bottom of their leaves. Flowers are dark brownish with a touch of yellow on the edges of the flowers. Plants usually grow on trees, but we've started ours out with a smaller, short branch.
 
Plants are known to be rare and are no longer collected in the forest.
